HGMS is a recruitment and employment agency specialising in the HGV driving sector. As a managed services supplier we work closely with our clients on the recruitment and placement of their permanent HGV drivers and in fully managing and supplying their temporary HGV driver requirements. HGMS provides a managed service to STARK Building Materials UK Limited supplying the UK wide temporary HGV driver requirements for many of their building distribution brands including Jewsons,  Minsters, Gibbs & Dandy and others.

Chris Bryant
Managing Director

Chris was the Founder of HGMS and is the Managing Director with responsibility for all things operational and customer facing.

With over 37 years of experience in the driver recruitment and logistics industry, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge from both a corporate and retail point of view.

Chris is a passionate Saints fan and enjoys spending time with his family at their favourite holiday spot in Ibiza.

Simon Prichard
Finance Director

Simon brings over 15 years of board level experience as a Chartered Accountant to the HGMS team, with extensive knowledge of fundraising, cashflow management, and all things finance.

Simon enjoys all things DIY, including making his own cider from the apple trees in his garden, and renovating his impressive Green Goddess fire engine.

Antonia Jeffers
Contract Director

Antonia manages the contracts for HGMS’s driver recruitment services across the UK. Specialising in driver compliance and business compliance, she manages the HGMS team and liaises with clients.

Race days are her favourite day out, including Goodwood and Ascot. Antonia also spends her spare time raising money for charity, including recently completing the National Three Peaks Challenge.

Karen Chuter 
Compliance Specialist

Karen guides the HGMS team to ensure that all workers comply with business regulations during and after the recruitment process. She works closely with both the recruitment and scheduling teams, managing branch and driver complaints, accidents and on-boarding processes for partner suppliers.

In her spare time, Karen loves travelling around the world with her husband, going to pop and rock concerts, and watching her home team Aldershot FC.

Tannia Miles
Compliance Specialist

Tannia says family time is the most important thing, and their 3-year-old grandson lights up the house.

She loves to travel with her husband – Thailand is one of their favourite destinations!

In her spare time, Tannia enjoys eating out and going on beach walks.

Sue Maudlin
Finance Manager

Sue manages the financial aspects of the business, including reporting numbers out, producing management accounts, and invoicing.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking in the countryside, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. Sue also loves dancing and listening to music on her record player.

Siu Ordish
Recruitment Resourcer

Siu works as part of the recruitment team at HGMS, sourcing drivers to cover bookings all over the UK. She works closely with the compliance and scheduling teams interviewing drivers and arranging training.

In 2007, Siu completed a solo around the world trip and met her husband in New Zealand, only to find out that he was also from Southampton!

She loves spending time with her family including her two daughters, visiting country parks, swimming, and going on adventures.

Zoe Stephens
Scheduler

Zoe works as part of the scheduling team to plan drivers into client bookings throughout the UK. Liaising with both clients and drivers, she maintains a detailed report of fulfilled bookings.

Zoe loves socialising with friends at the weekends, including dancing and attending music festivals. She also loves travelling all around the world, with some of her previous destinations including Australia, Thailand and the USA.

Abbie Rogers
Scheduler

Abbie works as part of the scheduling team, fulfilling bookings around London and Kent. Communicating with drivers is a key aspect of her role, ensuring that all bookings are met and both the client and driver are happy.

The outdoors is one of Abbie’s favourite places to be, with hobbies including horse riding and hiking throughout Cornwall and the South West with her two dogs, Travis and Jessie.

Lynzi Dale
Scheduler

As part of the scheduling team, Lynzi places driver bookings for client branches throughout Scotland. With over 13 years of experience of driver planning and scheduling, Lynzi enjoys working with people and communicating with the great team of HGMS drivers.

An expert macarena dancer and cocktail maker, she loves spending time with friends, family, and her two border collies, Redmond and Raymond.
